The articles of the Association were registered on March, 31, 1979. The theoretical basis and objectives of the " Centre for Therapeutic Group-Analysis" ("Centro di Analisi Terapeutica di Gruppo" C.A.T.G.): The theoretical bases of the "Centre for Therapeutic Group-Analysis" (C.A.T.G.) are recognizable in his objectives: research and training in Group-Analytic Psychotherapy, specifically according to S. H. Foulkes' theory (Art. n.1 of the Association). The "Centre for Therapeutic Group-Analysis" (C.A.T.G.) was one among the first Organization of this king in Italy, promoting lectures, congresses and clinical practice within Universities and other private and public Institutions. Since 1978 the "Centre for Therapeutic Group-Analysis" (C.A.T.G.) is a member of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy (I.A.G.P.), playing an important role in it ,contributing with original papers to all the Congresses promoted by this Institution. The "Centre for Therapeutic Group-Analysis" (C.A.T.G.) is a member of the "European Group-Analytic Training Institutions network" (E.G.A.T.I.N.), whose formative training is recognized by the"Group Analytic Society"(G.A.S.) at London for G.A.S. membership. Up-to date summary of the works of the C.A.T.G.: Besides purposed objectives C.A.T.G. is an active member of the "Confederazione di Organizzazioni Italiane per la Ricerca Analitica sui Gruppi" (Confederation of Italian Organizations for Analytic Research on Groups-C.O.I.R.A.G.) , taking part through the "School for Psychotherapy". The C.A.T.G. promotes lectures, workshops, supervisions and diffusion of paper in "Plexus - The Space of the Group" (Plexsus - Lo spazio del gruppo) in the Revue "Attualità in psicologia", which obtained an high participation level in Italy and abroad. How to enter at theC.A.T.G: To enter in the "Centro di Analisi Terapeutica di Gruppo" (.C.A.T.G.), after the personal Group-Analysis period, it is necessary to have a Group Analytic didactic training, (Groups of observation-supervisions-lectures) according to a specific rule.
