The association was born in 1981 from a group of Italian psychologists and psychiatrists trained at the S.E.P.T. in Paris who has begun working in Italy, under this acronym, since 1971.
The original theoretical basis suggested by Poul and Gannie Lemon, the S.E.P.T. FOUNDERS, REVISES Moreno's ideas in the light of Freaud's thought in Lacan's reading. Some of the Italian members'individual analitical experiences have been producing an intersection with the analitical culture coming from the freaudian evolution and have been promoting an integreation with the psychoanalytic theories on the group.
Following this prospect the game is a developing instrument of the intra end inter subjective dynamics, a privileged passage in the emotional experience, a bridge between the group and the individual.
Since 1990 S.I.P.s.A. has been a C.O.I.R.A.G. member and has been cooperating with the C.O.I.R.A.G. Psychotherapy School at Milan, Turin and Rome institutes.
You can join the S.I.P.s.A. in different ways: as a Supporting member only producing your own curriculum or as a regular member, doctor or psychologist, who, after a personal, individual or group, analysis, has to attend a specific training course at a C.O.I.R.A.G. School for psychotherapists or at the S.I.P.s.A.'s. The S.I.P.s.A. didactic centres cover the most of the Italian national territory (Torino, Alessandria, Udine, Firenze, Roma, Bari).
The analytic psychodrama is used olther as a therapeutic instrument in national or private centres, with the adults, the children and the teenagers, the serious patients, the neopathologies, the national health service workers, the educationalists, teachers.
The S.I.P.s.A. didactic centres work as study or research centres in the psychoanalytic field either for the group or for the setting following the opinion that it would be useless for the research a strict division of the two fields.
